STIHC Offers Pfizer Vaccine: CFSD Students Ages 16+ Are Eligible

8Sophie Trettevick Indian Health Center will be offering a Pfizer Vaccine Clinic on April 14 at the Community Gym from 1 - 5 PM. Young people 16 and up are eligible for Pfizer, whereas Moderna is only available for individuals 18 and up. The Makah Tribal Council approved expanding eligibility to Cape Flattery School District students over 16 years old. Additionally, all tiers are eligible to receive Pfizer. However, if you received the first dose of Moderna, you cannot switch to Pfizer. Those who attend the Pfizer vaccine clinic will be due for their second dose on May 5th.

Patients under 18 must receive parent/guardian permission to receive the Pfizer vaccination. Additionally, patients are not required to be registered patients at STIHC. If the CFSD student is not a patient with STIHC, staff will enter their vaccine information into the state database.

Please schedule an appointment. Scheduling appointments allows STIHC to know how much of the vaccine to order. To schedule an appointment, call STIHC at 360-645-2233.

STIHC Continues to Offer Weekly Moderna Vaccine Clinics

Sophie Trettevick Indian Health Center will continue offering Moderna vaccine clinics on Fridays at the Community Hall from 1 - 4 PM. Same as Pfizer vaccine clinics, please schedule your appointment. Scheduling an appointment helps STIHC to order the correct amount of vaccine. To schedule an appointment, call STIHC at 360-645-2233.
