Every child is special to us here at STIHC, and we want to know them well so that we can support you and them on their wellness journey.

Well Child visits are every Wednesday morning from 8 AM to 12PM.

During the Well Child Visit every child gets a book, a physical exam, and there is time for a conversation and to ask any questions or tell us about any observations you have of your child. If your child is due for vaccines then we can discuss what vaccines are recommended for your child - the decision to vaccinate is always up to the parent/guardian.
To schedule a Well Child Visit, call 360-645-2233.

  • The first week visit (3 to 5 days old)

Centering Pregnancy

Centering Pregnancy meets one Thursday a month at The Makah Wellness Center with Dr. Rebecca Pfaff from Forks. you do not need to be a patient of Dr. Pfaff to join Centering Pregnancy. Dr. Pfaff will happily accept new Patients who do not have an OB doctor/Provider.
Centering Pregnancy allows you and a companion or companions of your choice attend prenatal visits that are in a comfortable setting. These appointments allow the time to ask a provider all of your questions, and learn more about your health, and share with others who are having a similar experience.
Centering Pregnancy was developed by providers who felt unable to spend quality time with their patients in prenatal appointments.  Traditional Care normally allows 2 to 4 hours total of face to face time with your provider over the course of your entire pregnancy the 90 minute to 2 hour time frame of each Centering appointment helps to address this issue. Even in a group setting, patients find they get to know their provider better as Centering allows them to spend much more time together when compared to traditional prenatal appointments. In Centering you have both private times to talk with your provider and ask personal questions, as well as group time that are fun and informative and questions may come up you forgot to ask. Email Angelical@forkshospital.org and to see if Centering is the right prenatal care for you. Call 360-374-6998 to join
