Rates may be calming down; may not get lower unless vaccination rate increases

COVID rates show steady decline
Rate of Variants of Concern is not increasing

Vaccine Information

Moderna available at Clinic on Friday for ages 18+
                  94% effective with two doses; 82% for one dose
Pfizer available at Community Gym on Thursday for ages 12+
             ​94% effective with two doses; 82% for one dose
Johnson and Johnson (one dose) available by request

CDC Mask Update

The CDC has updated its guidelines to allow no masks indoors if ALL are vaccinated. The mask mandate is still in effect by federal law, and local governments can still mandate use of masks in public spaces. Makah Tribal Health Order 03-21 is still in effect and Phase 3 protocols still require masks in public spaces.
Masks are still needed at indoor social gatherings if there are any unvaccinated humans, including children, at the gathering.
