EOC Meeting Video

DATA CORRECTION: The rate of Neah Bay Residents 12 and up with the COVID Vaccine was incorrect. The correct numbers are: 75% have had 1 dose of the 2-dose vaccines and 65% have had 2 doses of the 2-dose vaccines or 1 dose of the single dose vaccine.

Clallam County Data

Clallam County is still considered High Risk with 3% positive test rate
29 active cases
1341 cases total
1 current hospitalization
2 new fatalities

​Overall rates are decreasing.

Washington State Data

There is a steady decrease in rates of new cases and deaths.

United States' Data

Rates for hospitalizations and deaths are steadily decreasing.

Vaccine Information

Vaccines are available in Neah Bay.  75% of population has had one dose; 65% have had two.
Moderna vaccine - available Fridays at STIHC - ages 18+
Pfizer vaccine - available Thursdays at Community Gym - ages 12+
Johnson and Johnson - available by request - one dose

CDC Update

While the CDC no longer requires masks for vaccinated individuals, please follow the Tribal, state, local guidelines about wearing masks. Health Order 03-21 is still in effect for the Makah Reservation, so masks are required in indoor public spaces.

EOC Update

We are working to connect with a Ham Radio network on the Olympic Peninsula to ensure continuity of communication in emergencies.

Demand has decreased, so no mask/sanitizer distribution for June. Next date will be before 4th of July.
