Neah Bay Data

Update for 07/23/21
2 new positive cases in Neah Bay. 
Case and contact tracing is underway

Clallam County Data

Clallam County is high risk with 6.8% positive tests
62 Active cases
95.3% of current COVID cases are in unvaccinated people
4.7% of current COVID cases are in vaccinated people
1507 cases total 
3 current hospitalizations
3 new fatalities (15 total)
Vaccination rate in Clallam County has now stabilized.

​Washington State Information

Washington State is fully reopened.
As the vaccination rate increases, the death rate decreases.

Variants of Concern

Alpha - 42 cases in Clallam County
Gamma - 2  cases in Clallam County
Epsilon - 5  cases in Clallam County
Delta - 0 cases in Clallam County
Iota - 1  case in Clallam County

STIHC Vaccination Rate

We have adjusted the terminology about vaccinated individuals from "Makahs vaccinated" to "STIHC- administered vaccinations" so the data is clear.
STIHC Vaccinations Given                 
1107 people given one dose -- 917 live in Neah Bay
1036 people  given two doses ( 94% of the 1107 total) - 869 live in Neah Bay

Vaccines Available at STIHC

The Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are all available at STIHC by request.

Incentive Lottery is Today

All people vaccinated at STIHC have been entered in the drawing. The drawing happens on July 13, 2021.

EOC Update - Health Order 04-21

The Makah Tribal Council passed Health Order 04-21; this order moves the Reservation to Phase 4. The order was mailed to all Makah households and is also posted on the STIHC website.
In Phase 4 -
  • No restrictions on outdoor gatherings
  • Indoor gatherings limited to 200
  • No mask needed for fully vaccinated people
  • Process for up to 200 personal visitors a day; visitors must be connected to a sponsoring Makah household; both visitor and sponsoring household members must be fully vaxxed.

Stay safe. Mask up when traveling off the Reservation.
