Makah Tribe is in Phase 3 of the Makah COVID-19 Public Health Protocols

Allowed Visitors No Longer Need a Negative COVID Test
Visitors allowed on the Makah reservation are enrolled Makah Tribal members and their household members and business visitors with an attestation. Unfortunately, non-Makahs who do not live with enrolled Makah Tribal members are not allowed to visit the reservation at this time. Allowed visitors are no longer required to prove negative COVID test at the check-point.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Offered Every Wednesday
Vaccine clinics are held every Wednesday at the Community Hall from 9 am - 5 pm by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call 360-645-2233. STIHC COVID Vaccine Clinics serve all 6-tiers who are all enrolled Makahs, descendants, and their household members (18+).

Vaccine Working to Protect Against New Variants of COVID in Washington
The COVID variant of concern in Washington originates from the UK. The vaccine seems to protect against the UK variant, which has been more transmissible and leads to more severe illness. Due to the new UK variant, the WA Road Map to Recovery is on hold, and no region will be progressing into Phase 3.

Please Continue to Wear Your Mask
Please continue wearing a face mask regardless of whether or not you received the first or second dose of the vaccine. It is essential that the mask completely covers your mouth and nose. A mask can make it difficult to hear one another when we speak, but it is critical to keep to mask in place as removing the mask defeats the purpose.
